Miami, Fla. – The Lady Royals traveled down to Miami this morning to take on the JWU Wildcats in the 1
st round of the TSC conference playoffs; the Royals were seeking revenge on the Wildcats from earlier in the season when the Wildcats handed the Lady Royals their only road loss of the season.
Unfortunately for Warner the Wildcats were dialed in from the start and were able to contain the Royals as they came away with the win 3-0.
The Wildcats came out firing and jumped out to an early 2-0 within the first 10 minutes of play.
The Royals were able slow down the offensive strikes but allowed another goal in the 31
st minute, which extended the Wildcats lead to 3. The first half ended with the Royals trailing 3-0.
In the 2
nd half the Royals defense tightened up and didn't allow another strong offensive attack by the Wildcats but unfortunately the Royals were never able to find the back of the net despite firing 19 shots and 9 shots on goal.
This is not the end for the Lady Royals this season, as they will be playing in the NCCAA Regional sometime in the next week. Stay tuned to find out more about the upcoming games for the Lady Royals.
