Babson Park, Fla. – Over the weekend the Royals headed into Babson Park to take on their cross town rival, the Webber International Warriors, and after jumping out to a commanding 52-28 lead at halftime the Royals were able to hand Webber their 2
nd largest loss of the season 93-72.
The Royals had 4 players score in double-digits and had one player with a double-double.
- Khalil Ozuna led the way for the Royals with 19 points and 11 rebounds and 1 block.
- Trae Graham scored 16 points and gathered 5 rebounds and 1 block vs the Warriors.
- Joseph Martz each had 16 points scored in 24 minutes played. Martz was a big contribution off the bench for the Royals, scoring 16 of the teams 20 bench points.
- Jalen Williams had 10 points for the Royals and 3 assists.
Bart Schild and
Austin Walker added to the Royals bench points with 16 total points between the two.
The Royals largest lead of the game (26) came in the 1
st half, right before halftime. Warner shot 83% from the Free Throw line vs the Warriors and also shot an outstanding 55% from the field, while holding the Warriors to just 40% from the field.
Warner dominated down low against Webber, led by
Khalil Ozuna and
Trae Graham, scoring 56 points in the paint and also did a great job of cashing in on turnovers as they scored 25 points off turnovers.
This was the 2
nd largest win of the year for Warner, 21 points.
Royals improves to 6-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play after this win and will play Webber again on January 26, 2019 at 4 PM in the Turner Athletic Center.
