LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Warner Royals sweep their way through the Warner-Webber Invitational.
GAME RECAP
In the closing match of the Warner-Webber Invitational tournament, the Royals faced off against Brewton Parker University. The Royals started the game off with a great energy and intensity. The Barons struggled in getting effective passes to allow for in system hitting. The Royals kills for the team were followed by just as impressive serves as the team tallied up10 aces in the match.
Leading players for the team were
John Montalvo-Camacho with 11 kills, 3 aces, and 6 digs followed by
Jordan Barreto with 9 kills, 2 aces and 6 digs and
Andrew Holman with 7 kills and 2 aces.
After the game Assistant Coach
John Myer had this to say, "Tonight's win was another great opportunity for our men to work on the fundamentals all the while remaining poised and ready for whatever came over the net. Starting the season 3-0 is a great accomplishment. We are now all the more ready to look toward the big games coming up next weekend. We also want to recognize how faithful God has been throughout this first weekend. We're healthy and excited for what He has in store for us! "
The Royals will be back on the court 2/9/18 at 6:00pm to face off against Missouri Valley College in Marshall MO.
