Lady Royals Earn 2nd Consecutive Conference Sweep

LAKE WALES – FLA. The Warner University Women's Volleyball team was on the road today in Miami, where they faced their second conference opponent, the Johnson and Wales University Wildcats.
With two conference games under their belt, the Royals have earned back to back sweeps having beaten each opponent in 3 sets.

Going into today's matchup, the Royals held a 5-7 record, with one conference win so far and the Wildcats owned a 5-6 record. This game improved Warner's record to 6-7, with now 2 straight conference wins.

Game Recap

The Royals held the Wildcats to scores under 20 for each of the three matches, with scores totaling 25-16, 25-19, and 25-18. The Royals collectively racked up a total of 29 kills, 28 total assists, 54 digs, as well as 9 service aces. Sydney Ackermann led the offense tonight with a total of 10 kills, with Breeanna Navarro and Becca Bowlin each contributing 6 to the total number of kills. It was Navarro and Lorenz who held down the defense with 11 and 10 digs respectively.

Warner will face their rival across Crooked Lake, the Webber International Warriors in an away match on Wednesday the 19 at 7:00 PM.
