Seven times in the past 10 years, the matches have gone to a nail biting 5 sets.

This season, the Royals started off slow falling in a couple tournaments to some tough nationally ranked teams. Where they started 1-6, they've battled to a 5-1 in the past six games. During the past six games, the Royals have won 15 sets and only dropped 6. As of late, Warner is sitting in 3rd place in The Sun Conference with a 2-0 record, both of which were sweeps against Ave Maria and Johnson & Wales. Warner head coach Chrissy Moskovits said, "Webber is always a tough opponent and I enjoy the fight it brings out in both of our teams. We need to play efficiently; that's always our goal when we step on the court - that means being efficient with our swings, sets, serves and defensive positioning." Defensively, Royals senior Andrea Lorenz, is having a phenomenal season. She sits atop The Sun Conference with 246 digs averaging 5.7 digs per game. She holds two Top-50 NAIA rankings; she ranks 15th in the NAIA in digs per game with 5.72, also ranks 49th in total digs with 246. She has season high single game digs, which is a career best of 35 against McPherson College.

Webber International is experiencing the same success at the moment. They're 5-1 in their last six matches, the only difference is they sit at 3-0 in TSC play. They've beat Johnson & Wales, Keiser University and Ave Maria. In those past six matches, the Warriors have defeated opponent's 15 sets to 7.

On paper, both teams seem to be fairly similar. Everything goes out of the window on Royals vs. Warriors day. This rivalry could set the tone of the rest of the season for both teams, as they're early in TSC play.

The game will be played the night of Wednesday September 19th, 7:00 p.m. @ Webber International University.
