LAKE WALES – FLA. This afternoon, the Warner University Volleyball Team secured their fourth overall conference win against the St. Thomas University Bobcats.

The Lady Royals began the game with high momentum and energy as they jumped ahead from the get go and never relinquished the lead. Explosive offense and solid defense paved the way for the Royals to seal the first set for themselves by a score of 25-16.

Set two came as a challenge for the Royals. It seemed as if the wind had been taken put of their sales as the Bobcats soared far ahead. The Royals attempted a comeback but were not able to swing it as they dropped this set 25-22.
Sets three and four proved to see the Royals regain the reigns as they were lights out and took the sets by identical scores of 25-20.

The Royals tallied up 49 kills, 6 aces, 79 digs, and 5 total blocks.

Up next, the Royals will face their rivals from across the lake, the Webber International University Warriors. The last time these two teams met, the Warriors topped the Royals in five sets, but this time Warner will have the home court advantage. This game will take place Tuesday, October 2^nd at 7:00 PM in the Turner Athletic Center.
