AVE MARIA, Fla. – Despite four Royals reaching double digits in points, the Royals fell to the Gyrenes 63-72. Daijah Turner ranks 3^rdin NAIA DII in steals. 
 
Warner traveled to Ave Maria and unfortunately will return home still in search of it's first Sun Conference win.
 
Alana St. Clair added her third double-double of the season today as the Royals fell to the Gyrenes. St. Clair has reached the double digit column in 11 of her 13 last games. She was 8-19 from the field and put up 19 points with 12 rebounds. 
 
Valeria Merlos had 14 points making 4-9 shots from beyond the arch while adding 3 steals in the game. 
 
Daijah Turner had 11 points shooting 5-11 form the field and adding 5 steals to her totals. Turner currently ranks 3^rdin NAIA DII in total steals with 64. She also ranks 8^thin NAIA DII for steals per game as she averages 3.048.
 
The Royals have lost six straight and have yet to win a game on the road. They hope to bounce back next week when they host both The University of the Virgin Islands and Webber International.
