Warner Women’s Soccer – Royals Honor Seniors With Big Win For Second Straight, Manzke Nets 5 Goals

LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Royals are heating up at the right time and came through with a crucial 8-0 win over Florida Memorial for tonight's senior night.
 
With tonight's win, the Royals enter a three-way tie for sixth place in The Sun Conference. With three TSC games remaining on the season, every game becomes extremely important.
 
Tonight's win moved the Royals a little closer to playoff hopes as they took down the visiting Lions 8-0.
 
Maddie Manzke led the Royals in an offensive attack where she netted a season and career high 5 goals on the night. Manzke scored in the 9th, 18th, 29th, 38th and 51st minutes of the game and also added an assist.
 
Denise Ortiz added 2 goals to her season totals along with 5 shots on the night. Kayla Drawdy buried her first season goal as a Royal  to finish out the 8-0 victory.
 
The Royals held the Lions to just one shot on the night as they answered with 25 shots with 18 on goal.
 
It's a tough three games that await the Royals for the finish of the 2019 regular season campaign. Thomas University, Johnson & Wales University, and the NAIA No. 1 Keiser University Seahawks.
