LAKE WALES, Fla. - Warner University (4-9 TSC 2-6) hosted the Johnson & Wales Wildcats (5-11 TSC 1-7) in an epic battle all the way to the end inside the TAC tonight. After 4 thrilling sets, the Wildcats were able to edge out the Royals and grab their first TSC win of the year.
1st Set: (WU - 21; JWU - 25)
2nd Set: (WU - 21; JWU - 25)
3rd Set: (WU - 25; JWU - 18)
4th Set: (WU - 28; JWU - 30)
In the 4th set neither side would give in to the other. The Wildcats trailed 22-20 and rallied to take the lead 23-22, but Warner tied the match on the next point 23-23 and from that point on there were 6 lead changes. Both teams exchanged blows until the match was tied 28-28 and the Wildcats were able to edge out the Royals for 2 straight points.
Alexandra Gonzalez once again led the Royals in kills, tying her season high with 25. She also had a double-double with a season-high 31 digs.

The Royals are a strong team at home but struggle early in matches. However, looking at the teams numbers in the 3rd set of matches it is hard to argue that this isn't a strong team.
