LAKE WALES, Fla. - Warner University (5-15 TSC 3-11) hosted the Ave Marie Gyrenes (11-12 TSC 6-8). The first match up of the season the Royals took a five-set thriller against the Gyrenes. Both teams today battled back and forth throughout each set of the match but Royals were unable to pull away with an upset win vs. Ave Marie Gyrenes.

1st Set: (WU- 23; AMU- 25)

2nd Set: (WU- 11; AMU- 25)

3rd Set: (WU- 20; AMU- 25)

Alexandra Gonzalez recorded her 10th double- double this season after recording a match high 12 kills and netting 11 digs as well.

Madison Hughes lead the team with 15 assists and 297 season assists. Bailee Mack trailing right behind with 10 assists and leads the team with 335 season assists.

The Royals have a couple games left and their final game will be the last home game of the season.
