(RV) Warner Men’s Basketball – Royals Continue Undefeated In Non-Conference Games With Big Win Over UNOH Racers

LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Royals added their 13th win to their schedule with a 85-54 victory over the University of Northwestern Ohio.
 
This was the first time in the two school's history they met the basketball court this afternoon. The Royals achieved their 13th win with an 85-54 victory over the Racer's and extended their win streak to three.
 
The Royals brought in a NAIA (RV) ranking into today's game. They also entered today's game 12-3 with a TSC record 2-3. Before the game, the Royals were ranked No. 1 in NAIA DII in steals per game with 13.267. They also ranked No. 1 in total scoring offense with 1378. Tonight's game only extended their reach in the No. 1 slot.
 
The Racer's entered tonight's game with a 2-10 overall record. The two standout players on the Racers so far is Nathan Lessing and Zach Montes.  Lessing carries an average of 20 points a game with 240 points overall. Montes is the lead rebounder with 78 on the season and 69 of them on the defensive side of the ball. 
 
Jaquez Dickerson led the Royals with 14 total points, 7 rebounds, 5 defensive and 2 offensive. Maxwell Benoit followed closely with 13 points hitting 5-8 from the field and adding 3 assists while only playing 17 minutes.
 
The Royals kept lead throughout the game. The first half the Royals shot an outstanding 68% from the field with 40% beyond the arc. The Second half the Royals hit 55% from the field, and 57% of their 3-point attempts.
 
The Royals take on Keiser University in their next matchup in West Palm Beach on Saturday January 4th at 4:00 p.m.
