Sylvia Welsh puzzled the Gyrene hitters holding them to just 2-hits in the contest. In game 2,
Brooke Olinger again staggered Gyrene hitters holding them to just 1-hit.

The Royals shutout the Gyrenes behind the stellar pitching of
Sylvia Welsh. Welsh improves to 5-1 on the season having thrown 44.1 innings and striking out 40 batters while sporting a 2.05 ERA. She's only surrendered 13 earned runs on the season and has pitched a complete game 5 times. In the complete 7 inning start, Welsh faced 25 batters, spreading out 2-hits while walking none.

thseason win and now improves to 7-2 on the season. Olinger boasts a team leading 54 innings pitched while only surrendering 11 earned runs in the season for a 1.43 ERA . She threw a complete 7 innings game against the Gyrenes today holding them to just 1-hit while striking out 5.
The Royals compiled 11-hits in game two with 4 extra base hits.

FINAL THOUGHTS
The Royals improve to 18-8 overall on the season while gaining two more Sun Conference wins improving them to 4-6 overall.
Warner will now travel home and shift their focus to the NAIA #18 University of South Carolina Beaufort Sand Sharks. The Sun Conference double header will be held on the campus of Warner University at Daly Field with first pitch scheduled for 11:00 a.m. this Saturday.
