LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Royals took the final two games of the three-game series from the Bobcats improving to 9-6 in The Sun Conference and 29-13 overall.
Game 2 – WU 8, STU 4
11-hits vaulted the Royals on top of the Bobcats 8-4. In the bottom of the 3
rdinning,
Rio Russell smacked a double to left field that scored
Xanders Vazquez and
Alfred Brown.
The Bobcats answered back quickly in the top of the 4
thinning scoring 3-runs of their own.
The Royals had a big 4

thinnings scoring 6 more runs.
Erich Jaquez singled in
Alex Vazquez and
Ronny Penalo.
Scott Fickas unconventionally manufactured a run reaching base following a strike 3 passed ball that allowed
Rio Russell to score.
Erich Jaquez then tripled in his next at bat scoring
Alex Vazquez.
Anthony Martinez got in on the action with a double to right field that scored
Erich Jaquez.
Xanders Vazquez rounded out the Royals offensive barrage with a single that scored
Anthony Martinez.

Erich Jaquez all finished the game with multi-hit efforts.
Joey Theune pitched 3 1/3 innings taking the win on the day surrendering 2-hits, 1 run, 2 walks and striking out 1.
Game 3 – WU 7, STU 1
Andres Fernandez stunned Bobcats hitters as he threw 8-innings, struck out 8, and spread out 5-hits while surrendering just 1-run in game three.
Scott Fickas started out the scoring in the 1
stinning for the Royals with a productive ground out that scored
Xanders Vazquez. Again in the 3
rdinning,
Scott Fickas singled in
Xanders Vazquez.
Alex Vazquez hit a sacrifice fly to left field that plated
Rio Russell.
Rafael Astacio joined in on the action with a sharp single to left that scored
Scott Fickas.
The lone run for the Bobcats came in the top of the 4
thinning off a single for an RBI.
In the bottom of the 5
thinning,
Rio Russell smashed his second homerun of the season with a deep shot to right field.
Scott Fickas plated Xandes Vazquez again in the top of the 7
th. Then to round things off,
Alex Vazquez double to deep left field scoring
Rio Russell.
