Easley, S.C. – The Royals hopes at reaching two consecutive NCCAA National Championship games began this morning at 7 AM when they took on Trinity Christian College (ILL.) in game one of pool play.
Warner was the away team in their contest today and managed to come away with the win 9-6 over the Trolls.
The Royals had to wait until 4 PM to play their 2
nd pool play game this afternoon at 4 PM against Randall University; Warner was the home team for this matchup and came away with a substantial victory, 14-3 over the Saints.
Game 1: (WU – 9; TCC (ILL.) – 6)
Warner came out ready this morning, swinging the bat superbly as a team, tallying 16 hits, going 16-37 and hitting .432 as a team in their 1
st win today.

st win this morning.

Alex Vazquez led his team with 3 hits, going 3-4 with 1 RBI.
Xanders Vazquez and
Deven Kirkland each had a double and
Erich Jaquez added another homerun to his resume and now has 5 on the year.
Game 2: (WU – 14; Randall – 3)
Warner kept the good offensive vibes rolling right into game 2 of their pool play this afternoon against Randall University, notching 12 more hits as a team, going 12-31. The Royals went 28-68 today as a team at the plate, hitting an impressive .412 as a team in day one of the 2019 NCCAA World Series.
The Royals scored 3 runs in the 1
st inning, 2 in the 2
nd and 3 more in the 3
rd inning and were up 8-0 by the start of the 4
th inning.
The 4
th inning saw 6 more Royals runs cross the plate as the team extended their lead to 14-0.
Warner would only need 7 innings to defeat the Saints, as they mercy-ruled the team 14-3 to start the 2019 NCCAA World Series 2-0.

Alex Vazquez and
Erich Jaquez all homered in the win.
Erich Jaquez hit two homeruns in two games today, and
Alex Vazquez hit two homeruns in game 2 this afternoon. Both players are seeing the ball exceptionally well and are a big part of why the Royals had so much success today.
