LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner women's soccer (1-5) finished off non-conference play against Trinity Baptist Eagles (1-1) with a 5-0 shutout.

The Royals offense took flight with 32 shots and 15 of them on goal. The Royals put up a season high mark with 5 goals on the night.
The Royals got their first shot off in the Ninth minute as
Maddie Manzke fired one on goal, but it was saved by the Eagles. Four minutes later,
Kirstin Campbell converted for her first goal of the season on a one-timer, assisted by
Maddie Manzke.
Over the next 15 minutes, the Royals converted eight shots and added a goal by
Maddie Manzke that was assisted by
Rachel DeWeerd. Manzke had a highlight of six shots the first half and three successful goals, pulling off the hat trick. This was Manzkes second, third, and fourth goals of her collegiate career. "She did a great job; she adjusted and changed her level of aggression and it really paid off. It was nice to see her talent shine through and be rewarded", said by Coach Chitwood.
Finishing off the first half in the Thirty Seventh minute, the fourth Goal of the night was converted by
Taylor Boyd, she blasted a long ball that found its way under the crossbar for her second goal of the season, assisted by
Kirstin Campbell. The Royals scored all five goals the first half and stayed aggressive defensively, leaving the Eagles overall with 4 shots and 0 on goal.
The Royals and Eagles have met three times in the overall series. With last night's win, the Royals take a 3-0 series lead and have outscored the Eagles 12-1 in the three games.
