LAKELAND, Fla. – Warner University woman's soccer opened up The Sun Conference play against No. 5 the Southeastern University Fire.
The Royals are coming off of a hot game against Trinity Baptist with a shutout. "Playing a simple game as simple as you can play it" words from Coach Peyton Chitwood after the victory against the Eagles.
The Royals and Fire have met up 15 times since 2006 with the overall series record firmly in the hands of the Fire.
The Royals defense held strong the first half of the game holding the Fire to one goal by the end of the first half.
In total the Royals had 7 shots with 5 of them on goal.

The Fire held strong defensively making those shots unsuccessful for the Royals. Offensively the Fire had 21 shots with 11 on goal and 5 successful goals.
