Since the start of the Warner University football program back in 2013,
Javon Wilson became the first ever running back to put up back-to-back 100+ yard rushing games against NAIA Top-25 opponents. Wilson has baffled both No. 16 Bethel and No.12 Lindsey Wilson for a combined 254-yards on the ground attack. He joins
Bryant Benton in the record books as the only two running backs to ever rush for back to back 100+ yard games in a single season for the Royals.
The Royals erupted for 418 total offensive yards against the No.12 Blue Raiders. The Royals have been missing a solid piece to an aerial attack and they found it in true Freshman
Dylan Blair. Impressively, the Royals offensive line did not allow a single sack as they provided time for Blair to establish his presence. Blair threw for 228-yards connecting with
Jeffery Jennings III,
Jordan Wojciechowski, and
Theodore Hammonds in the endzone.
A solid ground attack led to
Javon Wilson leading with 112-yards off 18 attempts for an average of 6.2-yards per touch. Wilson is averaging 5.7 yards per carry with 52 attempts on the season.
James Eddings plundered the Blue Raiders with 7 carries for 60 yards busting loose with a 38-yard gain.

There were a couple of miscues for the Royals but overall, they played extremely well. In comparison, the Blue Raiders had 484-yards in total offense. The Royals answered with 418 of their own. The Royals defense stunned the Blue Raiders rushing attack holding them to just 71-rushing yards. The Blue Raiders carried an average of 163-yards rushing per game heading into Saturday.
The Royals were 4/4 inside of the redzone making them extremely effective. The Blue Raiders converted 4/5 of their redzone attacks.
The Royals sit 0-3 to start out the 2019 season. However, they've played the No. 12 and No. 16 teams in the country. The Royals hit the road to take on (RV) Kentucky Christian University in next Saturdays matchup.
