LAKE WALES, Fla. – In one of the few non-conference matchups for the Royals this season, they took on the Barons of Brewton Parker in a game that went into overtime. 
 
The Royals wasted no time getting on the board in the 6^th minute as Blessing Zim charged in receiving the ball from Brooke Blommel and rifled a shot to the back of the net. It was Zim's second goal of the season and the first assist credited to Blommel. 
 
Just seven minutes later in the 13^th minute, Aamya Moville scored for the Barons off a free kick just outside of the 18 that deflected into the net. The goal was Moville's first goal of the season.
 
It was a tight race all the way until the end of regulation as the two teams remained tied and headed into overtime. In the 4^th minute of overtime, Maddie Manzke placed a perfect corner kick into the goalie box and found a jumping Sara Machado who scored the golden goal game winner on a header into the upper 90. 
 
The Royals fired 13 shots in the contest with 10 of them on goal. 
 
The win improves the Royals to 4-4 on the season and with two saves Gabrielle Barnette earned the win in net improving to 1-2 on the season.
