Warner Women’s Soccer – Royals Struck Down With Shutout By NAIA No. 4 Fire

LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Fire routed the Royals 3-0 in tonight's Sun Conference matchup.
 
The Royals took on the powerful NAIA No. 4 Southeastern Fire tonight in Lake Wales. The stout Fire offense entered tonight's game ranking 8th in the country with 38 total goals. Fighting one of the best offenses in the nation, the Royals defense battled hard and held the Fire to just three goals on the night with only 16 shots.
 
The Royals also broke through a very tough Fire defense and rifled off 7 shots.
 
It was the Fire that took the first matchup of the season with a 5-0 shutout in Lakeland.
 
The Royals had 7 shots in the game, Kristina Budzban and Kristin Campbell both registered 2 shots each.
 
Warner falls to 5-5 overall and 2-5 in The Sun Conference. The Fire improve to 10-0 overall and 8-0 in the Sun Conference also owning a win over the defending national champions No. 1 Keiser.
 
Next up the Royals take on Ave Maria on Tuesday, November 3, at 6:00 p.m. in Lake Wales.
