MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Royals traveled to Miami Gardens, Fla. to face the Lions of Florida Memorial University for the last SUN conference matchup of the season.
The Royals have a winning overall record against Florida Memorial of 9-5 dated back to 2009 when these two teams first faced each other.
The first and only goal of the game came from Senior,
Simiran Pnasier in the 8
th minute of the match to take the lead and put the Royals on top. Warner played great defense, the Lions had 9 shots in total, 4 of their shots were on goal which resulted in
Woodlerson Cyrius recording 4 saves in the game.
Warner had a total of 11 shots and 4 were on goal. Both teams had 4 corner kicks each.
As the SUN conference play comes to an end the Royals notched 3
rd place in the conference and clinched a playoff spot. Warner ended with a conference record of 4-2-2.
The postseason SUN conference will be on November 6,9,12. The higher seed will host the tournament.
