Warner Men’s Soccer – Royals Defeat Lions in Last SUN Conference of the Season

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Royals traveled to Miami Gardens, Fla. to face the Lions of Florida Memorial University for the last SUN conference matchup of the season. 
 
The Royals have a winning overall record against Florida Memorial of 9-5 dated back to 2009 when these two teams first faced each other. 
 
The first and only goal of the game came from Senior, Simiran Pnasier in the 8th minute of the match to take the lead and put the Royals on top. Warner played great defense, the Lions had 9 shots in total, 4 of their shots were on goal which resulted in Woodlerson Cyrius recording 4 saves in the game. 
 
Warner had a total of 11 shots and 4 were on goal. Both teams had 4 corner kicks each. 
 
As the SUN conference play comes to an end the Royals notched 3rd place in the conference and clinched a playoff spot. Warner ended with a conference record of 4-2-2. 
 
The postseason SUN conference will be on November 6,9,12. The higher seed will host the tournament.
