LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Royals made a comeback and won against the No. 4 Bobcats notching their three-straight win at home.
The game did not start how Warner wanted it to but that didn't affect their momentum as they scored their first runs in the bottom of the 5
th inning to tie the game.
Zachary Balogh singled to center field to record an RBI scoring
Logan Flood.
Anthony Capri singled to right field to register an RBI scoring
Jan Martinez.
Josh Strickland doubled to center field to list an RBI scoring Balogh.
In the bottom of the 7
th, the Royals capitalized on the errors made by the Bobcats to score five runs.
Tyler Brown and Strickland scored on an error by the pitcher. Martinez then filed out to center field for a sacrifice fly to score
John Pichman and register an RBI. Balogh and Flood then scored on an error by the right fielder.
In the bottom of the 8
th, Flood singled to left field to collect 2 RBIs scoring
Deonta Kerney and
Trevor Thomas. Martinez then flied out to right field for a sacrifice fly to score Pichman and registered another RBI.
Andrew Yarbrough took the win off the mound improving him to 1-0 in the season. Warner will face No. 4 St. Thomas again tomorrow at 12 and 3 pm.
