(RV) Warner Baseball – Royals Fall to the Sandsharks

BLUFFTON, SC. – In a weekend series against USCB, Warner moves to 5-7 in The Sun Conference. 
 
The Royals got off to a great start and scored 3 runs in the first inning. John Pichman doubled to left center and registered 2 RBIs scoring Josh Strickland and Logan Flood. Jan Martinez then singled center field and listed an RBI scoring Pichman that made the game 3-3. The Sandsharks answered back to tie the game in the bottom of the 1st and took the lead in the bottom of the 5th that made the game 4-3 in favor of USCB. 
 
In the top of the 6th, Flood singled to left field and recorded an RBI scoring Zachary Balogh to tie the game 4-4. In the top of the 7th, Alexander Ramos registered an RBI with a sacrifice fly to center field to score Tyler Brown to take the lead 5-4. The Sandsharks came back to tie the game in the 9th inning and then walked off with a hit-by-pitch.
 
The Royals will return to play on their home field on Tuesday, March 30 to face No. 8 Seahawks from Keiser University.
