LEBANON, Tenn. – The Royals dropped a four-game set to the nationally recognized Tigers.
It was the first time the two schools have played each other in Men's Volleyball. Both teams entered the game nationally recognized in the most recent NAIA Coaches top-15 poll.
Daniel Isernhagen led the Royals offense with 11 kills in the match.
Augusto Silva registered 10 kills and also put up a double-double with 11 digs and finished the match with 5 blocks.
Jose Gonzalez fired up 10 kills with an attack percentage of .714 and almost had a rare double-double finishing just one block shy. Gonzalez had 9 total blocks and 4 digs defensively.
Matheus Collares almost had a double-double with 36 assists, 9 digs and 3 kills.
Audrye Alejandro Rivera was the Royals dig leader finishing the match with 13.
Though the Royals saw their 12-game winning streak snapped, they still have one more regular season matchup and stand 12-3 overall owning wins over some of the nation's best teams.
