BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Royals dropped a four-game set to the Warriors in the last regular season game with a score of 1-3.
It was the second time this season these two teams have faced each other. Overall, the Royals are 5-2 against the Crooked Lake rivals dating back to 2018.
Eduardo Ayala led the Royals offense with 16 kills in the match with an attack percentage of .308.
Augusto Silva recorded 11 kills and 4 blocks in the match while
Daniel Isernhagen registered 8 kills and 10 digs.
Samuel Gil Rodriguez registered his season and career high with 19 assists.
Audrye Alejandro Rivera was the dig leader for the Royals with 17.
Overall, the Royals are ranked No. 3 in the NAIA for Blocks per Game (2.450)
and No. 11 for hitting percentage (0.268).
Jose Gonzalez is ranked No. 2 in the NAIA in Blocks per Game 1.350) and No. 10 for Total Blocks (73).
Audrye Alejandro Rivera is ranked No. 15 in Digs per Game (2.890).
The Royals will participate in the Mid-South Conference tournament on Thursday, April 8 in Bowling Green, Ky with tournament seeding to be announced.
