BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Warner beat Reinhardt in three sets in the first round of the Mid-South Conference Tournament.
 
The Royals have faced the Eagles twice in the regular season this year. The history of these two teams dates back to last year with a record of 3-1 in favor of Warner.
 
Eduardo Ayala and Daniel Isernhagen both recorded 13 kills each. Ayala ended the match with an attacking percentage of .308. Isernhagen ended the night with an attacking percentage of .500 and two kills away from surpassing his career-high. The freshman Samuel Gil Rodriguez recorded a new season and career-high of 21 assists. Carlos Castillo ended the night with a season-high of 16 assists and an attacking percentage of .667.
 
As a team, the Royals recorded 47 kills, 44 assists, and an attacking percentage of .371 to defeat the Eagles. Warner will play in the Semifinals tonight against Georgetown College at 8:30 p.m EST.
