LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner swept Calumet College of St. Joseph tonight with a powerful pitching display backed up with a resilient offense.

With Alison Yawn on first base, Kasey Heslin rifled a ball down the first baseline that rolled all the way into the corner, Heslin legged out an inside the park homerun that didn't even garner a throw to the plate. Kelly Dwyer later singled up the middle that scored Sara Bruno. The Royals took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first.

In the bottom of the third, Breyonna Shell #shellshocked the Crimson Wave with a double to deep left center that scored Sara Bruno. Later in the inning, with bases loaded full of Royals and two outs on the board, Alison Yawn hit a sharp liner down the left field line that rolled to the corner for a grand slam scoring Madison Ioia, Payton Pilon and Kelley Dwyer.

Warner added on in the fourth inning when Katelyn Richards hit a sacrifice fly to right field that scored Ashton Owen.

Tiffany Dodson picked up her 9th win of the season improving to 9-3 overall. She pitched the 5-inning complete game striking out 7 on the way.
