(18) Warner Softball – Royals Fall to USCB In South Carolina

HARDEEVILLE, SC. – USCB Sandsharks topple Royals taking both games and only allowing one run in both games.
 
Game One – WU 0, USCB 8

In the top of the 3rd, Jennifer Bryant singled to left field and was left stranded on base. The Sandsharks answered the hit on the board in the bottom of the 3rd with four hits and scored 3 runs to take the lead. USCB put 4 more runs on in the bottom of the 4th and then secured their win with a run in the 8th bringing their total to 8 runs.

Game two – WU 1, USCB 3
 
The Royals' bats came alive after the tough loss in game one. The Royals had a total of 10 hits. 

Alison Yawn went 3-3 against Muraskin. Breyonna Shell and Bryant both put up 2 hits. Ashton Owen, Katelyn Richards, and Kelly Dwyer were able to get one hit a piece.  

Arroyo pitched 5.1 innings taking the loss and gave up 7 hits. 
 

The Royals overall record moves to 25-13 and 9-7 in Sun Conference play.
 
Warner returns home to face the Eagles of Trinity Baptist College on Tuesday, April 20.
