BABSON PARK, Fla. – (18) Warner Softball split the doubleheader series with Crooked Lake rivals Webber International. Warner improves to 21-9 overall and 5-3 in Sun Conference play. Webber International falls to 20-16 overall and 7-3 in Sun Conference play.

Game One – WU 4, WIU 0
The Royals blanked the Warriors on their home field scoring the only run in the first five innings. Things heated up in the top of the 6
th inning when Warner started off with a single up the middle by
Kasey Heslin.
Katelyn Richards laid down a bunt base hit to advance Heslin to second.
Breyonna Shell #Shellshocked the Warriors with a double to left center and picking up 2 RBI's scoring Heslin and Richards. The 2 RBI's places Shell at No. 4 in the NAIA with 40 RBI's on the season.
Ashton Owen fired a double to left field recordign an RBI by scoring Shell. The three-run top of the 6
th gave the Royals a commanding 4-0 lead over the Warriors.
Tiffany Dodson snagged the win yet again improving to 17-5 overall. Dodson slammed the door shut on the Warriors tossing the complete 7 innings and only surrendering 4 hits. Dodson faced 24 batters which was just three over the minimum possible 21 batters.
Game Two – WU 1, WIU 3
The Warriors plated two runs in the bottom of the 1
st inning. They added one more in the bottom of the 4
th inning off the Royals lone error in the game.
Trailing 0-3,
Kasey Heslin fired her first triple of the season down the right field line for the Royals. She was followed by a
Katelyn Richards sharp single to left field giving Warner their lone run in the game.
Kasey Heslin finished the game 2-4 at the plate with a run scored and a triple.
Andrea Rebello picked up the first couple of hits in her career with a double and a run scored on the day.
Arianna Arroyo got the start in game two and was replaced by
Tiffany Dodson in the first inning after early signs of struggle. Dodson went on to throw 5.1 innings spreading out 7 hits and 1 run while striking out 2.
