(RV) Warner Baseball – Warner Take Down No. 14 Keiser in Game 6

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Royals win against No. 14 Seahawks to remain undefeated in the Sun Conference Tournament. 
 
Royals have faced the Seahawks four times this season. The overall record is 26-20 in favor of Warner. In the last six appearances, the Royals took four games from the Seahawks. 
 
The Seahawks got an early start and hit a home run in the 1st inning to put a run on the board. In the bottom of the 2nd the Royals answered back when Josh Strickland singled and registered an RBI scoring Logan Flood to tie the game. In the bottom of the 5th, Flood grounded out into a double play, but a run scored by Jan Martinez to take the lead. 
 
In the 6th Keiser answered back and tied the game and in the 7th inning, they took the lead. In the bottom of the 7th, John Pichman doubled to left center listed an RBI scoring Martinez to tie the game. Flood recorded an RBI with a sacrifice bunt to score Tyler Brown to improve the game 4-3 Royals up. David Torres singled up the middle listed RBI scoring Pichman to make the game 5-3. In the bottom of the 8th, Brown registered an RBI scoring Taylor Briggs to advance the score to 6-3. 
 
Freddy Gonzalez started on the mound for the Royals, he pitched 5.2 innings with 10 strikeouts. Andy Yarbrough went in relief for Gonzalez to collect the win, improving his overall record to 5-0. Yarbrough pitched 2 innings. Liam Felix pitched again after pitching last night in relief for Yarbrough. John Bean collected his 1stsave of the season after going in relief for Felix. 
 
The Royals face USCB today at 11 am for Game 7.
