Warner Women’s Soccer – Royals Shutout the Falcons in the Home Season Opener

LAKE WALES, Fla. – Royals began the season with a win against the Falcons of Florida College. 
 
The first goal of the game was scored by Sara Machado, assisted by Kalena Iwashita to take the lead for the Royals. 
 
Blessing Zim then scored the next goal, assisted by Madison Marshall to make the game 2-0 Warner up. 
 
Mary Doell scored her first goal of the season in the 31st minute of the first half, assisted by Iswashita to improve the score to 3-0.
 
Machado scored her second goal of the season as soon as the second half started. Maddie Manzke also snagged her first goal of the season with an assist by Machado that made the game 5-0. 
 
Kristina Budzban also scored a goal with an assist by Brooke Boccuzzo. In the 85th minute, Kirstin Campbell scored a goal assisted by Lexi Garcia to make the game 7-0 
 
The Royals will travel to Illinois to take on the Eagles of Judson University on August 28th.
