Warner Women's Track & Field End With Two Top-Ten Finishes In RADD Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla - The Lady Royals participated in the RADD Collegiate Invitational in Gainesville, Fla where they had a great weekend coming in with all top 10 finishes in two events.

The Lady Royals only had two women competing in this event, but they had a huge impact making a name for themselves as well as Warner University. Junior Jolie Caya had two great preliminary races where she came in eighth place, and then eventually topped that performance with a sixth place finish in the Women's 60 Meter Hurdle. Junior Selena Johnson also had a great weekend in the Women's Triple Jump event as she beat her mark four times finishing with a mark of 11.22 Meters which was good enough for a third place finish. Johnson has shown a lot of promise along with Caya to put the Warner Women's Track & Field team on the map in the Sun Conference, as well as the rest of the NAIA. They will be traveling back to Gainesville, Fla on Thursday, January 26th to participate in the Alachua County College Open.
