Warner Women's Volleyball Dominates CCGA With A 3-0 Victory

BRUNSWICK, Ga - The Royals went on the road to face College of Coastal Georgia in a Sun Conference Matchup. 

The Royals were ready to take on College of Coastal Georgia on the road in Brunswick, Ga. The Royals came out rolling as they were able to get a big lead over the Mariners in the first set of the match. Reva Godbolt had a great game, leading the offense with 11 kills for the Royals. Senior Becca Mack had another stellar performance setting up her offense, as she finished with a team leading 17 assists. Coastal Georgia fought back in the second set as both teams were tied at 25-25. The Royals took advantage of a service error, finishing the set a point later from a kill by Holly Rowe, gaining momentum going into the third set.  Karla Rodriguez was a defensive anchor leading the Royals with eight digs, while also leading in aces. The Royals continued their great play in the third and final set finding themselves with a four point lead late in the match. After a huge ace from Freshman Cristina Marrero, the Royals didn't look back, securing their third win in Sun Conference play. The Royals look to continue their late season push, taking on their Crooked Lake Rival Webber International University.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Reva Godbolt continued to impress as she finished with a team leading 11 kills, and registered two blocks. 
  • Senior Becca Mack did a great job of setting up her teammates as she finished with 17 assists.
  • Karla Rodriguez finished with three aces, and anchored the defense with a team high eight digs.
