THOMASVILLE, Ga - The Royals hit the road to take on Thomas University in Thomasville, Ga for a Sun Conference matchup.
The Royals this afternoon took a trip to Georgia to play Thomas University NightHawks.This was the first time these two teams faced off on the turf and both teams put on a performance. Thomas came out with a chip on their shoulder as both teams were looking for their first conference win. They set the tempo early in this matchup scoring 10 points in this first half of play while the Royals just could not find the endzone. Coming out for the 3rd Quarter in the first few minutes of play Thomas scored again making the game 17-0 but the Royals decided to answer back. With 10:03 left in the 3rd Jeremiah Davis connected with Adrian Glasgow for a 57 yard pass to bring the Royals back on the board 17-7. Kyle Metiam found an opening in the NightHawks defense and rushed for a 3 yard touchdown in the red zone to bring the score 31-20. The NightHawks answered again, finding a hole in the defense scoring their last touchdown of the night bringing their final score 38.
