Warner Baseball's Head Coach Jeff Sikes Inducted Into The Polk County Sports Hall Of Fame

LAKELAND, Fl - Warner University's Head Baseball Coach Jeff Sikes was inducted into the Polk County Sports Hall of Fame alongside other Polk County Legends Chris Richard, Steve Pearce, and Terrence McGriff as part of the 2023 Hall of Fame Class at the Polk County All-Sports Awards Banquet. 

Since February 1984, Head Baseball Coach Jeff Sikes has had a huge impact on Warner University, the Lake Wales Community, the Sun Conference and most importantly has helped shape over 600 lives as the Royals head baseball coach. He is one of the longest tenured baseball coaches in the NAIA coming up on his 40th at Warner and is expected to surpass the 1,200 Career Win Milestone this upcoming season. Sikes ranks 10th in all-time winningest coaches and has the third most wins among active coaches in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' history.

- 1 NAIA Gold Glove Winner
- 4x FCCC Champion
- 13x NAIA Regional/Opening Round Appearances
- 1x NAIA World Series Appearance
- 2001 NAIA Coach of the Year
- 2001 Conference Coach of the Year
- 2001 Florida Diamond Club Coach of the Year
- 2010 Team Sportsmanship Award by Florida Collegiate Umpires Association
- 1992-2005: Conference Chair for Sun Conference
- 1990-1992: National Chair for NCCAA
- 14 Players have gone on to play baseball professionally, and 55 players have gone on to coach High School, College or Professional.
