WSOC: Royals Fall to the Florida Memorial Lions on the Road, 3-0

MIAMI GARDENS, FL - The Warner University Royals suffered a challenging defeat at the hands of the Florida Memorial Lions with a final score of 3-0 in a key SUN Conference soccer match. Despite their efforts, the Royals were unable to score.

From the outset of the match, Florida Memorial dominated the play, scoring early and maintaining control throughout. In goal for Warner was Martina Duque, who faced a relentless offense from the opposing side.

Among the Warner players, Jessica Alejandre received a yellow card, marking a significant moment in the match. The relentless pressure from the Lions led to Warner's difficulty in reversing their fortune, despite strategic plays and defensive efforts.

Looking forward, the Royals aim to recuperate and refocus as they prepare to host the Southeastern Fire on October 26 in Lakeland, FL. With a current record of 3-8-1, and 0-8-0 within the conference, Warner's women's soccer team is eager to turn the tide in the upcoming contest.
