LAKE WALES, FL - The Warner Royals Women's Basketball team delivered a dominant performance against the University of Fort Lauderdale Eagles, securing a 77-41 victory at the Turner Athletic Center. The win improved the Royals to an even 5-5 on the season as they showcased efficiency on both ends of the floor.
Game Leaders:
- Courtney Logan led the Royals with 20 points, narrowly missing a double-double with 9 rebounds. She added 2 assists and a steal to cap her standout performance.
- Bethany Howard was a force in the paint, contributing 18 points on an impressive 9-of-13 shooting while grabbing 5 rebounds and recording a block.
- Aalyah Watson was sharp from beyond the arc, finishing with 8 points and 4 assists while hitting 2-of-4 three-point attempts.
Warner's defense was stifling, holding Fort Lauderdale to just 25% shooting from the field and forcing 20 turnovers. The Royals also dominated the glass, out-rebounding the Eagles 42-26, while scoring 48 points in the paint.
