WEST PALM BEACH, FL - The Royals hit the road to take on Keiser University in a Sun Conference matchup, taking place in West Palm Beach, FL.
The Royals looked to bounce back into the win column, as they traveled to West Palm Beach to take on the Seahawks of Keiser. The Royal's defense kept them in for the majority of the game, as the offense struggled to hit shots. Despite forcing 13 Keiser turnovers, the Royals were unable to take down their Sun Conference foes and lose 77-59. Warner on the day, shot 37.5 percent from the field and knocked down 73.3 percent from the free throw line.
Skyler Scull led the way for the visiting Royals, scoring 16 points on 86 percent shooting, including a 2-3 tally behind the arch. Additionally, he finished with three rebounds, three assists, and a couple of steals.
Logan West trailed Skyler for the team lead in points with 14. West also went on to record seven rebounds, and five assists while hitting 4-6 free throws. The Royals tallied 22 points in the paint and an additional 11 off of Seahawk turnovers.
Blaize Darling Jr put together a strong performance for the Royals, finishing the game with 11 points, five rebounds, and an assist. The key for the Seahawks in their victory today was their 42 points scored inside the paint. Vincent Miszkiewicz had a great game for Keiser finishing with a double-double. Miszkiewicz completed the game with 19 points, 17 rebounds, and four steals. Warner battled from start to finish but was unable to overcome their shooting woes. The Royals will look to bounce back into the win column Wednesday when they host College of Coastal Georgia, in a Sun Conference matchup.
