Thank you to President David Hoag, Athletic Director, Sean Hanrahan, and the hiring committee for this opportunity."
Coach Benjamin is looking to his 21 years of experience to develop the comradery of the team, " I think it helps to come in with a level of credibility but, providing clear Vision, Values, and Processes toward specific objectives is more powerful. You have to care about the individual and the individual has to develop a care for the group. Those Selfless aspects are non-negotiable for a team to enjoy the process and get to their ceiling together. The coaching staff will provide a deep level of commitment, competitiveness and care for everything on and off the field."
Athletic Director Sean Hanrahan had this to say about Coach Benjamin,"First I want to thank the countless hours the hiring committee dedicated to this process. It was a long journey that had many qualified candidates. Rich was one coach that rose to the top. There were several reasons we chose Rich Benjamin. The three most significant were his extensive head coaching background in NAIA, his energy for growing players spiritually and in the classroom, while still competing successfully in the NAIA World Series made him a great fit for Warner University Baseball."
