PASCO COUNTY, FL - In an impressive regular season showdown, the Warner University Royals women's volleyball team secured a clear win against the Trinity College FL Tigers on September 3, 2024, at Pasco County, FL. The Royals defeated the Tigers with a dominating scoreline of 3-0, showcasing their formidable playing style and teamwork.
From the start, the Royals established a strong lead, taking the first set 25-14. They continued their decisive play into the second set, albeit with a more closely fought 25-21 score. The third set mirrored the first, with the Royals overpowering the Tigers 25-14, thus sealing their victory in straight sets. This win highlighted the Royals' preparedness and cohesion as a team going forward in the season.
Leah Cooley led the charge with a total of 7 kills, closely followed by
Sofia Suarez with 6 kills, and
Rylee Waldie who contributed 5 kills and also added a block, the team's only block of the game. The defensive efforts were equally strong, with Thaimarys Rosado, Ashleyn Fassnacht,
