AVE MARIA, Fla. – October 11, 2025 — Warner Women's Soccer earned a hard-fought point on the road Saturday afternoon, drawing 2–2 with Ave Maria in a back-and-forth SUN Conference matchup highlighted by a standout offensive performance from junior forward Jessica Alejandre.
Alejandre delivered a sensational outing, scoring both Warner goals, including the late equalizer. She put the Royals on the board in the 47th minute (47:05), then struck again in the 75th minute (75:18) to level the match at 2–2. Alejandre finished with six shots, three on target, and was a constant threat throughout the afternoon.
Warner produced one of its strongest attacking performances of the season, with Gianna Bellomo adding five shots and two on goal. Elisabet Rosario contributed two shots—one on frame—while Shelby Cape and Lillian Dodge each added a shot as the Royals pressed forward in search of a winner.
In goal, Inna Vannula anchored the Warner defense with a composed and resilient outing, recording nine saves while facing 11 shots on target from the Gyrenes.
The result marks an encouraging step forward for Warner in SUN Conference play as the Royals continue to build momentum heading into the heart of their conference schedule.
