LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner Men's Basketball returned to SUN Conference play on Saturday afternoon inside the Turner Athletic Center, falling 82–58 to visiting Keiser University. The Royals showed strong individual performances—particularly from junior guard Seth Childers—but were unable to overcome the Seahawks' efficiency on both ends of the floor.
Childers led the way for Warner with 13 points, shooting 5-of-10 from the field while adding 9 assists and 4 steals in one of his most complete outings of the season. His playmaking and defensive presence helped spark stretches of momentum for the Royals.
Jerry Kline-Ruminski anchored the rebounding effort, securing a team-high 5 boards as Warner worked to limit Keiser's second-chance opportunities.
As a team, the Royals shot 36.4% (20-55) from the floor and 28% (7-25) from three-point range. Warner finished 11-of-18 (61.1%) at the free-throw line while battling to keep pace with Keiser's consistent offensive rhythm.
Despite the final score, the Royals continued to build on foundational pieces, including backcourt facilitation, defensive pressure, and improved ball movement. Warner now turns its focus to the next matchup as they travel to Kinsport, TN for the NAIA The Show tournament where they're slated to face off against Campbellsville and Indiana East.
