Marietta, Ga. – The Warner University men's volleyball team (2-4, 1-3) rallied to defeat Life University (5-6, 0-2) in a thrilling five-set match. The Royals came from behind after dropping sets 3 and 4, ultimately winning 25-23, 25-18, 19-25, 20-25, and 15-13.
Match Recap:
The match began with Warner taking control in the opening two sets. In Set 1, the Royals hit .310 as a team, with
Darion Graham leading the charge with several key kills. Warner's offense was on fire, claiming the set 25-23.
In Set 2, Warner continued to dominate offensively, hitting an impressive .400. Graham once again came up big, contributing to a 25-18 victory to give the Royals a 2-0 lead.
However, Life University bounced back in Set 3, with the Running Eagles improving their offensive efficiency to hit .423. Despite strong efforts from
Graham and
Milos Sipragic, Warner struggled to keep up and dropped the set 25-19.
Set 4 saw Life continue their momentum, with their attack tightening and Warner making costly errors. Life took control and won 25-20, forcing the match to a deciding fifth set.
