LAKE WALES, FL - In a regular season doubleheader, Warner University's softball team suffered a tough loss at home against Augustana College Vikings, finishing with a score of 8-1, and 16-4 on March 29, 2025, in Lake Wales, Fla.
GAME 1, L (8-1)
The Royals opened the scoring right in the 1st inning when
Grace Derstine hit a single for an RBI, bringing in
Remy Camp for the sole Warner run of the game. Despite this positive start, the Vikings quickly took control in the 2nd inning, scoring three runs and consistently held the lead for the remainder of the game.
