LAKE WALES, Fla. - The Warner University Royals Women's Soccer team clinched a decisive 3-1 victory over the Florida National Conquistadors on a sunny day at the Royal Soccer Field. This match marked an important milestone as it registered as the first win under the guidance of new Head Coach
Steve Lord.
The Royals displayed remarkable resilience and strategic prowess from the outset. An early breakthrough was achieved as
Morgan Sullivan scored the first goal, setting the pace for the Royals. Continuing to dominate, Sullivan added another goal to her tally with an assist from
Sabrina Bouchachia, showcasing excellent playmaking skills, augmenting the team's offensive thrust.
In the second half, The teamwork was further exemplified when
Lillian Dodge netted her first collegiate goal, contributing to a halftime lead of 2-1 in favor of Warner University. The Royals' defense, led by goalies Haley Houweling and
Inna Vannula, maintained tight security, effectively thwarting attempts by the Conquistadors.
