LAKELAND, Fla. - The Royals took the short drive north to Lakeland to take on #6 Southeastern University for another 3 game SUN Conference series that kicked off with a double-header on Thursday. Warner battled hard against the Fire, but would fall in both games by score of 5-to-0 and 3-to-1.
Warner took on the challenge of facing SUN Conference foe, and the #6 team in the NAIA, Southeastern University on Thursday.
Diana Martin lead the Royals at the plate in Game 1 going 2-for-4 and extending her on base streak to 19 games. Martin was unable to get on base in the 2nd game of the day ending her team leading streak at 19 and marking only the 3rd game this season where Martin was unable to reach base safely.

April Dominguez also recorded hits against one of the top pitching staffs in the country
Alisha Wagoner recorded the lone RBI for the Royals on Thursday hitting an RBI double to right field to score
Jillian Hudson.
