LaGRANGE, GA. - The Royals went up to Georgia for their first road game of the season on Saturday to take on NCAA DIII opponent LaGrange College. Warner was once again firing on all cylinders and would go on to earn their first road win of the season in dominating fashion with a final score of 6-to-1.
The Royals took to the road for the first time in the 2026 campaign on Saturday, but looked right at home after scoring in the 11th minute of the game.
Miya Sikhakhane scored her 3rd goal of the year on a powerful shot from about 40 yards out into the top left corner past the Panther goalie to put the Royals up 1-to-0. Warner's attack continued to put pressure on the LaGrange defense immediately after scoring. While threatening to double their lead,
Elisabet Rosario was fouled just outside of the box by the Panthers' last defender who was quickly shown a red card to put the Royals up a man for the remainder of the game. Warner continued to control the pace of the game, but were unable to find the back of the net again until the 43rd minute when
Miya Sikhakhane beat multiple defenders off the dribble before hitting Rosario on a through ball into the box. Rosario calmly collected the pass and stuck the ball into the net to give the Royals a 2-to-0 lead heading into the half.
Warner came out firing to start the 2nd half, recording three quick shots in the opening minutes of the half. in the 59th minute, Senior defender
Jaclyn Malagies made a great run to cut through the LaGrange defense to put herself in a strong attacking position.
Gianna Bellomo saw Malagies cutting through the defense and played her through with a great pass of her own. Malagies collected the pass and ripped a shot from just outside of the box to score her 1st Collegiate goal to put the Royals up 3-to-0. It did not take long for the Royals to find their 4th goal, when Rosario scored her 2nd goal of the game in the 66th minute. About 10 minutes later, Junior Transfer

Miya Sikhakhane recorded her 2nd assist of the game. Warner's 6th goal of the game came in the 87th minute, when Rosario fought through the LaGrange defense to blast her 3rd goal of the game into the back of the net to secure her 1st Collegiate hat trick and help the Royals earn their 6-to-1 win.
The Royals defense continues to show its strength, allowing only 1 goal in each of their 3 games so far this season and held the LaGrange offense to only 2 shots in 90 minutes of play. Warner's win on Saturday marked the first time that the program has opened a season with a record of 3-0-0 since 2023. The Royals final stat line was 30 shots, (20 on goal), 5 corner kicks, and 1 save.
Warner will look to extend their winning streak to 4 games when they travel to Florida National University on Thursday.
