Box Score LAKELAND, Fla.- The women's basketball team traveled up to Lakeland to take on Sun Conference opponent Southeastern University Fire Thursday night. The #20 ranked Fire would hold the Royals to only 26% shooting on the night en route to a 77-42 win. The Royals had a tough time keeping up with the Fire in the first quarter as Southeastern outscored Warner 26-11. In the second quarter the Royals would cut into the lead a bit and outscore the Fire 17-14 but still go into halftime down 40-28. The Fire would come out strong in the second half and once again extend their lead to 60-39 after the third quarter. In the fourth, the Royals struggled shooting from the field as they were held to only 7% shooting. Warner would ultimately fall to Southeastern 77-42 to drop their overall record to 5-5 (1-2) on the season.

Kaley Schmick with 9 points. The Royals will be back in action at Trinity College, Saturday December 3 at 2 pm.
