Box Score WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Royals women's basketball team got a big Sun Conference win over Keiser 72-70 Wednesday night. The Royals were down 39-34 at halftime after Keiser had a huge second quarter. However, the Royals came back in the second half to outscore Keiser 38-31 and come away with a two point victory.

Porsche Shakes had full control of the Royals offense in the first half scoring a combined 21 out of the 34 points in the first half. The Royals seemed to dominate the first half statistically, but Keiser was hot from three point land going 6-11 in the first half. That seemed to be the only thing pushing the Seahawks into the lead at halftime.
The Royals then came out in the second half proving they can shoot the ball from beyond the arc as well. The Royals shot 70% (7-10) from three point land in the second half with Shakes going 3-5. The Royals outscored their counter part the entire second half and took the win on the road over Keiser.
Sara Poehlman finished with 14 points going 3-5 from three point land on the night. Shakes finished with 25 points and 5-7 from three.
The Royals are back home Saturday February 20 against Thomas for senior day. The game is scheduled for a 2 pm tip.
