Warner University Sports Hall of Fame
Josh Hall is the most decorated player in the history of the Warner men’s basketball program and the only student-athlete in school history to have his/her jersey retired. A three year letterman from 1996-99, Hall was a two-time NAIA All-American in the 1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons.
In his junior year (97-98), Hall led the Royals to a 26-8 record and their first trip to the NAIA Division II National Tournament where they advanced to the Sweet 16. He was also named to the NAIA National All-Tournament team that year. In his senior season (98-99), he was unanimously chosen as the NAIA Division II National Player of the Year after scoring a school record 915 points and leading the Royals to a 20-12 mark. He was a two-time Florida Sun Conference (FSC) First Team selection as well as a two-time FSC Player of the Year.
Along with his single season scoring record, Hall still holds 17 school records and is the all-time leading scorer with 2,163 career points. Among the records he still owns are field goals made in a season (306), three pointers made in a season (146) and points per game (29.5). During his tenure as a Royal, Hall scored 20+ points 49 times, 30+ points 22 times and 40+ points seven times.
